Foreclosure Epidemic Overview

National Foreclosure rates have risen to epidemic proportions. They are continuing to rise so fast that according to recent reports, approximately 35% of Americans that were previously homeowners will be renting rather than owning by the year 2008.

Foreclosure is a scary word for any home owner. It means that the mortgage lender can take your home and sell it to recover the mortgage that was once loaned to you for that purchase of that home.

Foreclosure has been with us for centuries and will always be here, at least in our lifetimes. Say what you want about the national economy, but those are statistics, not individual home owners.

Foreclosure is a personal problem that is as unique in each situation as the people going through it. Every case is different from all others because everyone has their own unique circumstances. If every Foreclosure situation was the same, we could have a blanket response to all of them and eventually eliminate all foreclosures. That however, is not the case.

Unique situations demand personalized attention. As long as there are homes to sell, jobs to lose, varying income, hardships happening to people from ALL walks of life, there will be Foreclosure. Just as death is unpredictable, hardships can happen to any one of us at any time, without notice. As long as that statement remains true, foreclosures will be a fact of life.

Whenever there are foreclosures, there is a demand for trained consultants to help the home owners. With a few exceptions, location is not an issue. You can help someone in other states by using your phone, fax and the Internet.

I see a lot of loss Mitigation companies popping up, many of whom not only were trained by Freedom Foreclosure Prevention Services, but now use the “Freedom Foreclosure” part of the name to try capitalizing on our success.

The problem with that is too many are not providing the loss Mitigation services. They are either outsourcing to other companies, or worse yet, luring the home owners in with the intention of turning them over to investors.

We do not operate that way. Our primary focus is on keeping the home owners in their homes. To learn more about our services and how you can help us Prevent foreclosures while retaining their equity through loss Mitigation or refinancing, visit www.preventforeclosure.net
